For our 12th release we are very excited to welcome none other than the boy wonder, Klinical, to the Context Audio ranks. As one of the best new producers to burst onto the scene recently, Klinical’s been making waves with every release and slaying dancefloors across the UK and beyond.
It’s a real pleasure to be able to host such a talent on Context and he’s delivered a wicked single for us that both nicely encapsulates his sound and really shows his range.
M2U opens proceedings in stunning style, coming through with a depth and weight you’d expect from a veteran producer like Halogenix. Razor sharp percussion pares off against delicate yet driving vox, with the whole thing underpinned by a powerful sub.
The flip, Validity, is a dancefloor weapon of the highest order. Vicious stabs meet big, bold drum work in epic style. Beautifully engineered with the heart of a beast, it’s going to cause some damage to dancefloors and eardrums alike. Trust.
Both equally strong in their own right and coming together to create something that’s more than the sum of its parts, CTX012 is a release that really shows the ability and range of a newcomer with such a bright future and is a strong continuation and expansion of the Context Audio sound. Doing the rounds for a while, it’s a pleasure to finally be able to release this for worldwide aural enjoyment.
